The Illinois Humanities is seeking applications for its RE: ACTION Micro Grants to Organizations.
Donor Name: Illinois Humanities
State: Illinois
Cities: East St. Louis, Decatur, Carbondale, Galesburg, Urbana, Champaign, Bloomington
Type of the Grant: Grant
Deadline: 05/06/2022
Size of the Grant: $1,000
Details:
The purpose of the RE: ACTION microgrants is to allow Illinoisans to engage with the Activation Ki prompts on the Envisioning Justice RE: ACTION platform and to help support the broader conversation about how they address the impacts of mass incarceration.
These microgrants are meant for organizations that would like to facilitate group activities based on the prompts in Envisioning Justice RE: ACTION. Organizations should have an idea of the prompt they’d like to use as well as the group they’d like to gather. Priority will be given to organizations with experience facilitating group workshops and with a history of working on justice-related issues — especially through the lens of the arts and humanities.
