The purpose of this fund is to support small to midsize arts organizations in southeast Michigan. This is a broad yet competitive fund which supports organizations that conduct their programming within the seven counties of the Community Foundation’s service area: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, Livingston and St. Clair.
They anticipate proposals that reflect the importance of programming and operations that are
- Designed to attract and welcome diverse and varied audiences,
- Promote inclusivity within artistic production, and
- Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice principles within arts organizations themselves.
Funding Information
Grants will vary in amount but will range between $5,000 and $25,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Awards will be made to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or an organization that has a fiscal sponsorship agreement with a 501(c)(3). Grants to religious organizations will be considered, but sectarian religious programs are not eligible.
- No grants will be made to individuals.
