United Way of Southwestern Oregon offers funding opportunities to Curry County and Coos County nonprofits and community organizations working in the areas of health, education, and financial stability. This year they offer three award categories:
- 2022 Annual Award: $30,000 available – maximum award per organization is $5,000
- 501c3 status is required
- Can be used for a specific project/program or for operating costs
- 2022 Community Partner Mini-Grant Award: $5,000 available – maximum award per organization is $1,000
- 501c3 status not required
- Can be used for a specific project/program or for operating costs
- 2022 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training Award: $5,000 available to support one or more training requests as funds allow
- 501c3 status not required
- For organizations wishing to provide DEI training to their board, staff, and/or volunteers (please have trainer or training program identified before applying)
- Collaborative training opportunities with community partners are encouraged
