2023 Local Guidelines
The Norwood Cultural Council strives to support: (1) Individuals and organizations from Norwood; (2) Individual artists working in Norwood; (3) Individual artists working in conjunction with the schools; and (4) New applicants with new projects and new ideas. Further, they urge individuals and organizations that are not locally based to work with a local partner to schedule events and to secure matching funds. Planning is a critical factor in their decision to award grants and local partnership demonstrates planning. Events scheduled with definite dates also demonstrates planning and a commitment to their community. Securing matching funds, especially when working with the schools, means that scarce funds can serve more people.
