A project, event, or series of events that help people in your apartment building, neighborhood, school, or community feel improved mental wellbeing, connect socially, learn together, or support each other in some other way. Your project or event must focus specifically on people living in Hennepin County. Outdoor projects or events must include a backup plan in case of weather. Organizations representing communities of color or indigenous populations are strongly encouraged to apply.
Funding Information
Funding of up to $5,000 is available per successful applicant and a total of $30,000 is available for all grants.
Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit and for-profit organizations and individuals that serve residents of Hennepin County are eligible. Projects must focus on people living in Hennepin County and be completed within 90 days from the date Hennepin County distributes the funds. Funded applicants must complete a project report, including a brief evaluation summary, within 14 days after the project ends to share what they did and learned.
