BOPA is looking for exciting and engaging performances that are free and open to the public. They’ll be granting one event in each of the four A&E districts.
Events must also take place in one of the designated A&E Districts: The Black Arts District, Highlandtown, Bromo, or Station North.
Funding Information
Grant recipients will receive $3,000 (80%) upon signing the grant agreement. The additional $750 (20%) will be processed upon completion of the event and final report.
Eligibility Criteria / General Conditions
- Events must be free and accessible. (Ada accessibility)
- Age 18+ to apply.
- Baltimore City resident
- Events must be sited in a Baltimore City A&E District (Black Arts, Highlandtown, Bromo, Station North)
- Events must be held between April 1 and September 30, 2024.
- Funds may be revoked if:

- Required permits were not procured by deadline.
- Entrance/Ticket fees are assessed.
- Event is cancelled without permission from BOPA.
- Terms of grant are breached.
