The Harold W. and Alice Kohtz Eberhard Scholarship was established in 2008 by a generous gift from Alice Eberhard’s estate.

$1,500 (1 Award, renewable up to 5 years if criteria continue to be met)
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must be a former graduate or senior from a public high school in Hamilton County, Nebraska. The schools included are Aurora High School, Giltner High School and Hampton High School. The applicant must plan to attend any accredited, qualified, nonprofit college or university in Nebraska, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale, and demonstrate financial need. Recipients of this scholarship may continue receiving funding in subsequent years (up to 5 consecutive years), provided they continue to meet the criteria listed above.

- High school or college transcript(s) (copies of transcripts are acceptable) and one (1) reference’s e-mail address. References will be notified to fill out an online form. References must be teachers, counselors, case workers, clergy, employers, neighbors, etc. (references from family members are not acceptable).
