Today, the fund and program are managed by the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation, with support from a review team that includes representatives from Pierce County Water Programs, the City of Gig Harbor, Pierce County Conservation District, and PenLight.
Annually, about $25,000 is available to area nonprofit organizations, schools and agencies meeting program criteria.
Program Goal
To follow the core purpose of the KGI Watershed Council and the Watershed Plan, with a focus on funding local environmental education, stewardship, and watershed protection projects.
