The primary goal of this funding is to make strategic investments in the Denver community while empowering them to develop innovative strategies to address pressing needs. All funds will be used to support community organizations and residents of Denver.
As Denver continues to recover from the devastating and disproportional economic and public health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, they are committed to making strategic investments in the community that create lasting change. They see these grants as a prime opportunity to support their partners in their work to build resilient communities for generations to come.
Funding Priorities
- Youth: Social and emotional community-based youth violence prevention programs.
- Resilient Communities: Community-based behavioral health supports to increase access to the health, safety, and resiliency of Denver residents.
- COVID-19 Disparities: targeted services and supports for individuals disproportionally impacted by COVID-19.
- Equity and Access in Workplace: community organization capacity building.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must be registered as a 501(c)(3) organization or have a fiscal sponsor
- The organization must be in good standing with the State of Colorado
- The organization must be located in Denver
- The majority of activities must be within the City and County of Denver, primarily benefitting the residents of the City and County of Denver
- Must be able to complete a midterm and final report on grant activities and budget
- Previous Human Together awardees are eligible to apply
