Vision
The Heart of Cook will be a leader in furthering education, supporting human services, and protecting the environment through a continued commitment to local communities in the AEP service area (Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana (La Porte, St. Joseph, and Elkhart Counties).
Funding Information
- Mini-grants are for small projects requesting $100-$500
- The standard grant program is for grants of $501-$10,000.
Criteria
A non-profit organization (501(c)(3), units of government, religious organizations, or schools) may submit only one application during this cycle (i.e., one for either the long form or the mini grant form).
Ineligible
Organizations that have received grant dollars for three consecutive years are ineligible to apply for one year. Also, high school robotics teams are not eligible for the Heart of Cook Grants.
Organizations can apply for only one grant per year.
