The Community Impact Initiative was established in 2020 by the CenDel Board of Directors to address the growing needs in the community by providing critical aid to various cases and community issues in Kent County. Each year the CenDel Board of Directors and Community Impact Committee will provide the focus of the grant based on community need.
The Community Impact Initiative’s primary focus for 2022 will be Early Education Programs that support early childhood education that focuses on activities that aid with cognitive, social and/or emotional development. The Community Impact Fund is interested in:
- Enhancing the quality of life in our communities. This includes quality and impact of the program.
- Education and broadening perspectives.
- Economic and Community Development
The Community Impact supports organizations and programs that help foster growth and wellness in the community. They are especially interested initiatives which:
- Encourage collaborative programs that support community.
- Bring awareness or community together.
- New programming or expanding programming.
Funding Information
Grants typically will range from $500 to $2500 depending on need and success of the application.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations that qualify for the grant must be public institutions and qualified 501(c) 3 nonprofit organizations with documentation of non-profit status from the IRS.
