The Donors InVesting in the Arts grantmaking program is happening within the context of The Community Foundation’s new 10-year strategic plan grounded in the values of Racial Equity and Inclusion and vision to close the racial wealth gap across the region. The foundation invite applicants to speak boldly and honestly about how their efforts address systems and policies that contribute to disproportionate negative outcomes for Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) and their communities.

Most grants will range from $5,000 to $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
For the 2023 cycle, the DIVAs are particularly interested in programs that empowers under-resourced children and youth to develop skills for artistic self-expression and/or actively work to improve the local community. The DIVAs Giving Circle is open to hearing from art-focused nonprofits as well as youth-focused organizations whose partnerships can ensure highly engaging, top quality artistic programming. All hands-on mediums that tap creativity are welcome. DIVAs are also open to intergenerational programs.
