Immigrant entrepreneurs face many challenges starting a business in the United States. Small business ventures and cooperative business models offer opportunities for immigrant households to generate income and boost Boston’s local economy.
Many immigrants have entrepreneurial aspirations but struggle to find technical assistance and funding sources to navigate the US business creation process and launch their small business/cooperative visions. At the same time, there are many organizations that currently work with immigrants as they develop their entrepreneurial ventures and cooperatives that require grant funding to assist these individuals with their goals.
Funding Information
This grant is a one-time opportunity for amounts ranging between $10,000 to $15,000 to be expended in the FY23 budget cycle (no later than June 30th, 2022).
Eligibility Criteria
This grant program is only available for registered 501c3 nonprofit organizations.
