The grant can be used for most expenses related to a new project that is accessible to the public in Hillsborough County, FL or Pinellas County, FL. Any discipline, any medium.
- Marketing for the event (e.g. design, printing, Facebook boosts, ads, etc.)
- Services (e.g. sound engineer, stage manager, handlers, etc.)
- Rentals (e.g. event/gallery space, equipment, etc.)
Funding Information
- The maximum grant amount an artist can apply for is $500. Transportation expenses cannot exceed $100 (or 20% of the budget).
- The Gobioff Foundation will fund up to 4 grants per cycle, thus a maximum of $2000 per cycle (up to $8,000 per year).
- You can only be awarded the grant once in any 12 month period.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each applicant must be an individual (artist or curator); not a group or nonprofit. Artists of any age, experience, or background are eligible to apply.

- The grant funds must be used in some way towards a new public display/performance/exhibition/etc. (a project where the public has access to an event that has not started yet.) Ticketed events cannot exceed a ticket price of $25.
- Where
- The project venue must be located in Hillsborough or Pinellas counties, Florida.

- Aspects of the project that will be taken into consideration but are not required:
- Low socioeconomic status population is impacted.
- Event or project is accessible to all populations.
- Partnerships and collaboration among artists and with organizations is encouraged.
