This donor-supported fund is dedicated to advancing racial justice and equity in the Greater Lehigh Valley by investing in community-led, anti-racism initiatives.
Powered by United Way and supported by donors, the Fund for Racial Justice and Equity (FRJE) provides targeted and intentional investments into Black and Brown leaders, community members, nonprofit organizations and institutions in the following focus areas:
- Leadership development
- Economic advancement
- Health and wellness
- Stories of Black and Brown excellence and success
Funding Information
In its newest phase of investments, the Fund is launching a grant program that will provide a minimum of six and a maximum of 12, one-time grants of $10,000 to $50,000 each to applicants.
Examples of potential applications include, but are not limited to initiatives that:
- Facilitate wellness in the community
- Provide colorism training
- Retain and develop current Black and Brown leaders
- Attract new Black and Brown leaders to the area and sector
