The East Bridgewater Arts Council believes in creating access to the diverse programs offered by their local community partners, including but not limited to the Council on Aging, Public Schools, and Public Library. They are a group of volunteers from the town of East Bridgewater that believe in supporting programs focused on the Arts, Humanities, Culture, and Interpretive Sciences. These programs are open to the town of East Bridgewater and surrounding Communities. The council evaluates cultural needs and establishes priorities to perform its primary function of re-granting funds allocated by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants can be:
- Arts, humanities or interpretive science organizations;
- Individuals including artists, science educators, historians or other humanists, parents, community members, etc.;
- Community organizations including, but not limited to, schools, social service organizations, municipal agencies and civic groups, religious organizations, neighborhood centers, youth, senior and family associations, etc.;
- Incorporated organizations must be nonprofit; unincorporated associations must have a nonprofit objective. Applicants must reside in Massachusetts and should have been engaged in the kind of activity for which funds are requested for at least one year.
