Building off Neighborhood Grants initiative, which provides financial support to city neighborhood groups to strengthen the communities in which they live, Rochester Area Community Foundation wants to help residents in Rochester’s low-income neighborhoods better understand the importance of continuing to be tested for COVID-19, and how and where to access the vaccination.

Eligibility Criteria
- Neighborhood-led and community-based organizations located in the following ZIP codes with low vaccination rates: 14604, 14605, 14606, 14608, 14609, 14611, 14613, 14614, 14615, 14619 and 14621
- Must collaborate with a COVID-19 resource organization (such as the Black Physicians Network, Interdenominational Health Ministry Coalition, Rochester Black Nurses Association, Monroe County Health Department, etc.) that is not necessarily a government entity or health-specific business or nonprofit
- Together, the neighborhood group and COVID-19 experts will determine the best and most innovative ways to reach residents and share important information related to COVID testing and vaccines to improve vaccination rates and decrease COVID cases.
