The Pathway to Sustainability Fund is a collaboration fund to incentivize organizations to internally streamline their processes and identify where they are on the pathway and to externally commit to collaborating with other organizations.
Participation in and completion of the Pathway to Sustainability Training, which includes the following:
- Completion of Board training (with at least 75% of Board members participating in complete training) and completion of staff training (with at least 90% of staff members/case managers participating in complete training)
- Board minutes/approval identifying agency’s position on Pathway continuum, as well as services/resources to be offered by the agency (this approval must come after Board training)
- Completion of one-year anniversary audit of utilization of Charity Tracker software and agency accountability to the Pathway model

- Grant Amount: $10,000 (paid as incremental milestones are achieved)
Eligibility Criteria
All grants from this Fund must be made for charitable, religious, scientific, literary, or educational purposes to any organization that is described Code Section 170(c)(2), 501(c)(3), 2055(a)(2) or 2522(a)(2) (except for private foundations as defined by Code Section 509(a)) (“qualified organization”). Qualified organizations also include schools, religious institutions, or government agencies located in the Greater Huntsville area.
