Connection Network is designed to support community leaders in creating healthy, vibrant community-based organizations. Partnerships play an integral role in addressing needs in their community by leveraging their collective leadership, capacity, and resources.

Applicants are required to address one or more of the following Focus Areas: Social Isolation/Social Support, Food Security, Quality of Life, and Older Adults/Adults with Disabilities.

The maximum award for Community Collaboration Mini-Grants is $2,000.

April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023.
Grant Criteria
To be eligible for Community Collaboration Mini-Grant funding:
- Projects must be based in Hawkins and Hancock County, TN.
- 100% of the requested amount must directly benefit residents in Hawkins and Hancock County, TN. Grantees will be required to report on use of funds in the final report.
- Organizations (Lead Applicant and Partners) must be located in or serve Hawkins and Hancock County, TN.

All applicants must partner (collaborate) with at least one organization/group. Legal incorporation 501(c)(3) is NOT required.
- Offer projects that are specific, small in scale and with a realistic plan to improve our local community and plans to sustain the project beyond the funding period. Project must work to address a critical community need affecting low-income residents in Hawkins and Hancock County, TN.
- Community Collaboration Mini-Grant Program cannot be used as sustaining funds for existing programs. If applying for funding for an existing program, you must use Mini-Grant funds to enhance or improve the project.

Complete their projects by March 31, 2023.

Grant funds are expected to be expended within one year, without expectation of further.
Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, service organizations, or charities that are located in or who serve Hawkins and Hancock County, TN residents are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to organizations and charities located in Hawkins and Hancock County, TN.
