The Community Mitigation Grant Program, created through the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management [OEM], is a pilot program for 2022 with $50,000 allocated to fund community and neighborhood mitigation work in Larimer County.
Funding Information
- Eligible applicants include individuals and non-profits, and they may apply for a specific project request up to $10,000.
Funding Limitations
The following will NOT be accepted as eligible requests for funding:
- Salaries
- Staff capacity
- Project planning expenses that are tied to implementation
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals, Non-profits, Road Associations, Housing Associations, and other similar type groups may apply. Small grassroots community groups will take priority.
- Projects must be located in Larimer County and must mitigate the risk from one or more hazard(s).
- All landowners participating in the project must agree in writing to the project.
