The City of Reno’s NEA Rescue Plan Grants recognize the role that local arts organizations play in supporting artists and creative workers, enhancing the quality of life in their communities, increasing public access to the arts, and contributing to the local economy. These grants are one-time funds to assist arts organizations to respond to the economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Grants will be made to eligible organizations to support their own operations. Unlike other City of Reno Arts & Culture Grants that offer project-based support, these funds are intended to support day-to-day business expenses/operating costs, and not specific programmatic activities.
