- Community art programs, sports leagues, Boy/Girl Scouts, and other community programs.
- Training sessions such as: health, job readiness, CPR, fire safety, or computer training.
- Neighborhood organizing activities, event signage, printing costs for a resident directory.
- Neighborhood Beautification & Improvement Grant
- For physical projects that improve the quality and sustainability of the neighborhood while creating healthy and safe living conditions for residents

Funding Information
- Neighborhood Community Engagement Grant: Up to $2000 per grant awarded.
- Neighborhood Beautification & Improvement Grant: Up to $4000 per grant awarded.
- The improvements must be accomplishable within a one-year time frame.
Eligibility Criteria
- Neighborhood must be registered with the City through the Neighborhood Registration Program.
- Project must benefit the entire neighborhood.
Ineligible Projects
- Expenses that occurred before the grant award was mad
- Purchase of land or buildings
- Alcoholic beverages
- Ongoing general organizational support such as rent or utilities
- Improvements or supplies that primarily benefit a particular household
- Food and drinks (may be funded up to 75% of the award amount)
