Grants are available for nonprofit organizations, schools, other groups, and individuals to work collaboratively in or with the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed Council (CCWC) on drainage, water quality, and habitat issues within the WRIA12 watershed. Projects may include watershed education and outreach activities, enhancement and restoration activities, volunteer or student projects, and purchase of signage, equipment, or supplies. Grant funds may not be used for lobbying activities.
Funding Information
The maximum grant amount is $2,500 per project. You are encouraged to apply for less if your project does not require the full amount. A total of $20,000 in grants may be awarded this year.
Eligibility Criteria
Projects must be located within the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed (WRIA12). PreK-16 schools, nonprofit organizations, students, teachers and religious organizations may apply. If an individual receives a grant they are responsible for reporting income on their federal income taxes unless they have a fiscal agent. Thanks to grant administration provided by the Clover Creek Council, the grant funds will be made available upon award. Expense receipts are required.
