Project requests should address a specific problem within our 10-parish region through the lens of one of their Impact Areas:
- Education: Early Childhood Success, Youth Success
- Income Stability: Increased Employment, Opportunities, Financial Education, Affordable Housing
- Health: Behavioral Health and Wellness, Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
- Basic Needs: Access to Emergency Shelter, Food, Family Supports and/or Transportation
Funding Information
Individual grant awards will typically range between $1,500 and $15,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is open to the following:
- Any 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization serving at least one of the parishes within CAUW’s 10 parish region: Ascension, East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, Livingston, East Feliciana West Feliciana, St. Helena, and St. James.
- All applicants must have tax exempt status for at least one (1) year prior to grant submission.
- All applicants must be in good standing with the State of Louisiana at the time of grant submission and at the time payment is made.
- Current CAUW Grantees must be up to date all with reporting
