This grant cycle, APIs RISE Fund grants will focus on addressing cross-cultural/cross-racial solidarity building, anti-Asian hate impacting the Asian communities, and working to combat anti-Black racism within API communities. Funded projects should serve the Sacramento region.
The Sacramento Region Community Foundation advance their mission by cultivating and securing resources and by engaging with locals to learn about the issues affecting the community. Since they established the APIs RISE Fund at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation in 2014, APIs RISE has awarded nearly $170,000 to support mission-aligned work in our community.
Funding Information
The maximum grant amount will be $10,000 for any single organization, and each awardee will be required to submit a brief report no longer than one page at the conclusion of the grant period or project.
Eligible Applicants
To be eligible for consideration, submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant agency must serve Asian and/or Pacific Islander populations;
- Applicant agency must have 501(c)3 status; and
- Applicants must service Sacramento and/or Yolo counties.
- Size of grant requested does not exceed $10,000 per organization.
- Applicant has not been awarded APIs RISE Fund grants over two consecutive years, beginning from grants awarded in 2020
