This program is designed to help residents from Manchester, New Hampshire attend and graduate from post-secondary institutions, including two-year schools, trade schools, and four-year colleges.
Funding Information
If accepted into the program, students receive scholarships of up to $25,000 annually, for up to four years, plus mentoring and funding for enrichment opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
- High school senior or adult resident of Manchester, New Hampshire, or graduate of a Manchester high school who is applying to attend or currently attending a two-year school, trade school, or four-year college (part-time or full-time) in 2022-2023
- Significant financial need. Priority will be given to applicants with Expected Family Contributions (EFC) of $10,000 or less
- Substantial unmet financial need (at least $5,000) beyond what is being offered in college financial aid and other scholarships, as determined by college financial aid award letter
- Applicants must be US Citizens, Permanent Resident Aliens (aka green card holders), or DACA or TPS recipients. All applicants must be eligible to apply for Federal Student aid in order to receive a scholarship.
- Ability to clearly articulate how this scholarship will impact applicant’s life and goals, and a drive to meet these goals through further education
- Applicants must exhibit good citizenship and a commitment to building and investing in their community
