To care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help those lead productive lives.
Speedway Children’s Charities is dedicated to helping children. SCC Texas serve 39,118 children in need throughout Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties.
Funding Focus
- For 2023, SCC will focus on program-based grant projects that serve the DIRECT need of a child through their Partner Grant program.
- Programs benefitting children with the most critical of needs will be the priority for their grant distributions this year; orphaned children, kids suffering homelessness, and children who have been victims of abuse and/or sex trafficking are the focus for 2023.
- This DOES NOT mean that programs benefiting children outside of these specified categories will not be considered. The mission of SCC to serve all children in need remains unchanged.
- Partner Grants are focused on funding new or existing projects and programs within your organization that directly benefits the children served, applications soliciting funding for administrative, salaries, or general operating fees with be automatically disqualified.

Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible to apply for funding from the Texas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities if you meet the following criteria:
- Must be a non-profit, 501c3 organization serving children in need
- Organization must serve children in Collin, Dallas, Denton, or Tarrant counties
- Services provided to children should be focused on those in medical, financial, social, or educational need
- Previous grant recipients are eligible to apply pending completion of the grant report from the previous year
- Must participate in the online Grant Workshop
Priority consideration will be given to organizations helping the homeless, orphan and foster population, and victims of sex trafficking. All applications will receive consideration and all eligible organizations are encouraged to apply.
