$10,000 is available for projects serving people who live in Coshocton County. Awards will typically range between $500 and $5,000, though larger requests will be considered based on impact.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofit and public organizations serving Coshocton County in Appalachian Ohio are invited to submit project proposals to the Coshocton County Connectivity Fund, a member of the Ohio Connectivity Family of Funds, that use internet connectivity to improve quality of life locally.
- Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit creative and innovative projects that use internet connectivity to address challenges and gaps Coshocton County community members face.
- Consideration will be given to projects utilizing internet connectivity to improve quality of life across all five of FAO’s Pillar of Prosperity, including: Arts & Culture, Community & Economic Development, Education, Environmental Stewardship, and Health and Human Services.
Potential use of funds might include, but are not limited to:
- Educational programs that advance digital literacy;
- Using technology to reduce social isolation and loneliness among senior citizens;
- Leveraging telehealth to provide greater access to care;
- Preserving and sharing local history through technology;
- Improving access to the arts through technology; and
- Utilizing technology to advance new economic opportunities.
