The Pierce County is seeking applications for its Nisqually Watershed Grants to provide small grants to nonprofit organizations, schools, teachers, businesses, and individuals wishing to enhance water quality and habitats in the Nisqually River Watershed (WRIA 11), at this time funding is limited to the portion of the watershed that is located in Pierce County. They are seeking additional funding partners to expand the program watershed-wide in the future.

Projects may include activities such as watershed education, voluntary enhancement and restoration activities, and purchase of signage, equipment or supplies. Grant funds may not be used for lobbying activities. Applicants may submit more than one application if they are for different projects or programs.

- Projects must be located within the Nisqually watershed boundaries (WRIA11) that are located within Pierce County and/or serve residents of Pierce County.
