The #WeStanForHer platform was created in 2020 to shine a light on Black women’s entrepreneurial spirit, through original content, conversations, and community partnership.
The #WeStanforHer program also includes:
- Complimentary business coaching and mentoring from New Voices Foundation for each grantee company
- One-on-one mentorship with a Barefoot Wine professional with functional expertise in the company’s area of need
- Access to New Voices community and ecosystem, business programming, and other resources

Eligibility Criteria
Businesses must meet the following criteria to qualify for the competition:
- Incorporated business for at least three months
- Majority ownership by a Black woman
- FOOD & BEVERAGE business excluding those that hold a retail or wholesale liquor license, sell children’s, maternity, health, and/or mental or physical wellness-related food & beverage products
- Company based in the United States
- Minimum of one (1) employee
- Business owner must be at least 25 years old
- Evidence of customer traction and market validation
