The 2022 Fredonia Area Community Foundation (FACF) Grant Cycle has approximately $14,000 available to support organizations with project/programs that directly impact the communities in the Fredonia area. The amount requested and types of projects/programs will determine the number of grants and amount to be awarded.
The FACF Grant Cycle is funded with proceeds from the following funds:
- Fredonia Area Impact Fund and Fredonia Area Operating Fund both support charitable projects/programs designed to meet a need of or enhance Fredonia and the surrounding communities.
- Kansas Health Foundation Fund-Fredonia Area underwrites solutions to local health issues and for the protection and promotion of the health and well-being of individuals and their communities through the encouragement of healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this opportunity, your organization must meet the following requirements:
- Possess 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Service code, be exempt under statute (i.e. educational institution, church, a city or county), or be formally linked to an organization with such designation
- Management should be in the hands of reliable, ethical, and experienced personnel
- Funding requests should not exceed $10,000.
- USD 484 personnel may apply and are eligible to receive grants through the 2022 FACF Grant Cycle. However, no more than $10,000 will be awarded to projects/programs within the school district.
