Individual Artist Mini-Grants are designed to encourage artistic development and experimentation, to support the realization of specific artistic ideas, and to recognize the significant contribution artists make to the creative environment of their City.
Funding Information
- SRAC will award $1,000 grants to individual artists based on funding available. Proposals must reflect at least a $1,500 project budget ($1,000 award/$500 match) total. The project budget may be greater than $1,500.
- Applications for Arts programming should occur between August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
Professional or emerging professional artists residing in the city limits of Shreveport are eligible to apply. Professionalism will be determined through the selection criteria. Only individual artists may apply. Applications from artist teams are ineligible; however, the applicant may include other artists in the request. An artist may submit one application for the mini-grant process.
