The goal of this program is to increase the technological investigative capacity and associated training of law enforcement, prosecutors, and other professionals nationwide to combat child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and online child sexual exploitation, including cases of child sex trafficking.
Objectives
OJJDP has developed the following program objectives.
- Category 1 Support the development, refinement, and advancement of widely used investigative tools, methods, and technologies that address child pornography and child sexual exploitation.
- Category 2 Increase the amount and availability of skill-based training for the law enforcement community and prosecutorial agencies on tools, methods, and technologies that address child pornography, exploitation, and sex trafficking.
- Category 3 Increase the amount and availability of new skill-based training for the law enforcement community and prosecutorial agencies nationwide on widely used tools, methods, and technologies that address CSAM and online child sexual exploitation, including cases of child sex trafficking.
