The Center of Resilience Excellence South Carolina (CORE SC) is a consortium created with guidance from NASA to research, develop, and implement scalable and replicable solutions to resilience challenges facing South Carolina in the following resilience sectors: water, energy, connectivity, agriculture, and natural hazards (WE CAN).
This funding will be managed and administered through the South Carolina Space Grant Consortium and the NASA EPSCoR Program at the College of Charleston.
The goal of the CORE SC Advanced Collaboration Projects Grant is to provide funding for up to one (1) year to organizations interested in conducting applied research in a collaborative manner on resilience sectors.
Funding Information
Advanced Collaboration Projects Grants provide funding up to $100,000 for a period not to exceed one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant and partners must be South Carolina based entities, and if a company, registered with the SC Secretary of State.
- The applicant must have the financial and management capacity to responsibly receive CORE SC grant funds and conduct the proposed project.
- Individuals are not eligible to apply.
