The South Baltimore Gateway Partnership provides a nimble and flexible vehicle for enhancing the vitality of the South Baltimore Gateway neighborhoods, empowering community institutions and improving the welfare of the residents.
Over a five year period, the South Baltimore Gateway Partnership will significantly improve the vitality of their communities by:
- Fostering community development and revitalization.
- Making communities cleaner greener and healthier.
- Improving the health and wellbeing of residents.
The project must serve or otherwise benefit the residents, businesses, institutions, or organizations of the District.

Eligibility Criteria
- Spark and Small Grants
- Non-profit organization with 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status.
- Mission-based organization (e.g. a neighborhood association) without 501(c) (3) tax exempt status but with a 501(c) (3) fiscal sponsor.
- Faith-based organization with a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status.
- School or government agency.
- Unincorporated community organization or group of active community residents with a 501(c) (3) fiscal sponsor.
- Medium and Large Grants
- Non-profit organization with 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status.
- Mission-based organization (e.g. a neighborhood association) without 501(c) (3) tax exempt status but with a 501(c) (3) fiscal sponsor.
- Faith-based organization with a 501(c) (3) fiscal sponsor.
- School or government agency.
