The goal of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to fund an entity to increase District mobility options and enable a transportation mode shift away from single occupancy vehicles, improve the e-bike user’s experience by increasing the availability of e-bikes, improve air quality, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The purpose of this grant is to fund a pilot project of solar-powered charging docking stations for shared e-bikes to reduce the need to manually swap out the batteries of docked e-bikes.
Funding Information
E-Bike Solar Charging Demonstration Project $375,000.
Project Period
24 months through FY 2025. This period can be extended depending upon the performance of the grantee and/or the availability of funds.
