The Orange County Youth Bureau administers Youth Development Program (YDP), Youth Sports and Education (YSE), and Runaway & Homeless Shelter Part I (RHYA) funding from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services Office of Youth Development, and Orange County Taxation Solutions (S) dollars. In the event new grants and funding programs become available following publication of this RFP, to receive any such funding each applicant shall be required to sign additional forms certifying its understanding of the terms and conditions of the grant/funding program and agreeing to fully comply with the same.
Orange County Youth Bureau grants are awarded to non-profit organizations that will operate to meet goals identified in the Touchstone Life Areas defined in Part III of this RFP, the Orange County Children and Family Services Plan, 2018-2023.
Funding Information
- For 2023, there is a maximum of $55,000 funding amount that can be requested.
- Successful programs will be given a 12-month contract with a start date of January 1, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
The following organizations are eligible to apply for funding through this RFP:
- Not-for-profits, secular and faith-based, organizations operating in Orange County; and partnerships or consortia consisting of the foregoing.
- Proposers that have never received funding through the Orange County Youth Bureau are encouraged to apply for funding in this RFP.
