The Collaborative Research Project must be designed to contribute new knowledge of national significance related to ADA implementation and compliance. The Collaborative Research Project must conduct research using the regional structure of the ADA National Network as a foundation for multi-site research to inform ADA implementation efforts.
The Collaborative Research Project must involve at least three of the NIDILRR-funded ADA National Network Regional Centers. The Collaborative Research Project may include entities — either as the primary applicant or a collaborative research partner — who are not a part of the ADA National Network. The Collaborative Research Project must be designed to contribute to the following outcomes:
- Improved knowledge related to ADA implementation.
- Improved ADA stakeholder awareness and utilization of the Collaborative Research Project’s findings
