Funding will be awarded to organizations that clearly demonstrate negative impact due to the pandemic from:
- Decreased revenue (e.g., from donations and fees)
- Increased costs (e.g., uncompensated increases in services)
- Challenges covering payroll, rent, mortgages, or other operating costs
- General financial insecurity
Funding Information
Grant requests should be between $1,000 and $100,000 and will be considered on a sliding scale based on the organization’s current operating budget:
- Current Operating Budget = $0 – $99,999 – grant request not to exceed $10,000
- Current Operating Budget = $100,000 – $249,000 – grant request not to exceed $25,000
- Current Operating Budget = $250,000 – $499,999 – grant request not to exceed $50,000
- Current Operating Budget = $500,000 – $999,999 – grant request not to exceed $75,000
- Current Operating Budget = $1 Million and above – grant request not to exceed $100,000
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible organizations include: Nonprofits with a public tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. Note: Public agencies, special districts, schools and school districts are not eligible (including nonprofit schools); however, school groups such as sports teams, clubs, bands, and PTOs are eligible if they have their own 501c3 status.
