Funds are to be used to address housing and other community needs of lower income residents of the City of Santa Clara identified in the 2020-2025 Consolidated Action Plan. Funds provided under this application are expected be available on July 1, 2023. This application is for City entitlement funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The following are annual estimated amounts:
- $ 195,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Public Services.
- $ 645,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Capital Improvements.
- $ 450,000 Home Investment Partnership Act (HOME) for Tenant Based Rental Assistance.
- $1,440,000 Home Investment Partnership Act – American Recovery Program (HOME-ARP) targeted for housing stability services, prevention, and response.
Applications will be accepted for a one-year or two-year funding cycle which covers FY 2023-24 and 2024-25.
Eligible Organizations
Applicants must be incorporated as a public agency or a tax exempt, non-profit corporation, demonstrate the capability to receive and expend grant funds, and assure compliance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws.
