The City of Henderson & Henderson County Government Grant Cycles have combined to ONE application.
Funding Information
The maximum request for this cycle is $15,000 per entity. This means if your organization is requesting funds from both the City and the County, then you may request a maximum of $30,000. If you are requesting funds from one entity, the maximum request is $15,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications will be considered for funding based on the following:
- Must be a registered 501(c)(3)
- Must serve City of Henderson and/or Henderson County residents
- Funds may not be used for religious programming such as religious outreach or religious studies
- Funds may not be used for more than 20% of administrative costs for the requested program
- Programs that qualify for funding include, but are not specifically limited to:
- Provide services that support to Henderson children, seniors, and families in financial hardship, food insecurity, homelessness, and emergencies created by domestic violence or disputes
- Provide support after-school
- Provide special education programs
- Provide measurable economic benefits for, and improve the quality of life of, the community, its businesses and its citizens.
Reporting Process
If awarded funds, a 6-month report must be completed online by January 6th, 2025, by 5pm. This report will include:
- Number and demographics (race, gender, economic status, City or County residency) of those served by funds received from the City and/or County
- A financial report detailing the receipt and expense of funds from the City and/or County
- A sustainability report showing on-going financial support for the funded program
- Promotional materials for the organization and/or program funded by City/County funds.
