The purpose of this Program Announcement is to invite proposals for funding from eligible private and non-profit organizations, state, local and tribal agencies, and institutions of higher learning to further build their capacity to market and deliver their existing entrepreneurship training program(s) to service-disabled veteran, veteran entrepreneurs and Reserve Component members who aspire to be small business owners or currently own a small business.
Funding Information
- Award Ceiling: $150,000
- Award Floor: $50,000
- The Award will be made for a 4-year project period of performance, consisting of a base period of 12 months from the date of award and three (3) non-compete continuation year periods of 12 months each
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this funding opportunity an applicant must:
- Be an eligible entity: non-profit organization, state, local or tribal agency, private sector firm or an institution of higher learning.
- Demonstrate a history of providing quality entrepreneurship and/or business management training for veterans who are aspiring or existing service-disabled veteran small business owners and Reserve Component members. The quality of a program can be demonstrated by resultant new business starts, business expansions or diversifications, as well as jobs created and/or retained.
