Arizona’s outdoor recreation areas are a driving force for visitors who choose to travel to this beautiful state. The pandemic ushered many visitors and residents outside to enjoy the outdoor attractions, trails and more. The Visit Arizona Outdoor Recreation Revitalization Grant provides funding for entities to engage in marketing, implement sustainability efforts, and/or make infrastructure improvements to help accelerate industry recovery.

Eligible Applicants
- Non-state-owned outdoor attractions
- Tribal attractions
- For-profit and nonprofit outdoor attraction entities and associations (nonprofit outdoor attraction entities will receive priority)
Project Eligibility
Eligible projects must address the following:
- Describe an appropriate response to the public health emergency or its negative economic impacts, including aid to impacted industries such as tourism, travel and hospitality.
- Provide a tourism, travel, and hospitality industry focused scope of work that will respond to the negative economic impacts of the pandemic.
