Homelessness Prevention services are intended to assist households who are at risk of homelessness to maintain or obtain stable housing and avoid homelessness. Eligible services include housing-focused case management and temporary rent payments, and other housing costs (such as arrears and utilities).

- General Population $5,938,000
- Young Adult Population $533,000
Grant Period
- The funding period is for two years, Program Years 2023 and 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- Units of general purpose local government or private non-profit organizations that have received 501(c) (3) federal tax exempt status from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and are registered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington.
- Faith-based organizations may not restrict client participation based on required religious affiliation or services, or engage in inherently religious activities as part of the program or services with these funds. Snohomish County will not accept applications from individuals.
