The primary purpose of this grant program is to increase local coordination and collaboration to more effectively prevent, intervene, and respond to gun and group violence. CCVI Strategies Pilot Grants are designed to provide intensive investments and supports for collaborative community violence prevention and response strategies within focused service areas.

- A total of $15 million in 2022-23 VIP funds is being announced to support this initiative.
