The Impact Prize is an important pillar of the Iovino Family Foundation’s long-term commitment to advancing economic prosperity for more people in the United States by promoting skills training, entrepreneurship, and investment in innovative learning technology.
2024 Impact Prize Criteria
- Your organization is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit
- Your organization has an annual operating budget of less than $5 million for at least two of the last four fiscal years
- Organizations demonstrating innovation or sustained excellence in one or more of the following programmatic priorities are encouraged to apply for the 2024 Impact Prize:
- Design and delivery of workforce development programs that effectively train and place individuals from diverse backgrounds in career sectors offering clear pathways to wage growth and overall career advancement opportunities
- Increase access, demand, support, and participation in workforce development training programs
- Focus on meeting targeted specific regional employment needs within an organization’s local workforce development geography, including programs in rural areas
- Additionally, they welcome proposals with one or more of the following 2024 Impact Prize Priorities:
- Creative use of technology
- Leveraging available Federal, State, and City funding programs
- Leveraging existing educational infrastructure and programs such as Community Colleges
- Increased diversity amongst traditional applicant pools
- Providing “soft skills” support to help overcome hurdles known to impede job applicants from achieving employment and career success.
