Funded by the Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise Levy, this RFI seeks to expand or enhance existing community-based summer programs for Seattle K-12 students.
DEEL is prioritizing programs that serve students furthest away from educational justice and those most vulnerable to the continued impact of the pandemic. Funding will be awarded to CBOs only; schools are not eligible to apply. Applicants may submit proposals that expand or enhance summer programming in one of three areas:
- Academic Learning
- Social-Emotional Learning and Enrichment
- College and Career Readiness
Funding Information
DEEL will invest up to $1 million in one-time funding for programming that occurs between June-August 2022, with up to 25 applicants eligible to receive between $10,000 and $75,000 per awardee.
