Purpose
These grants are being offered to benefit the courts and the people of Maryland with the goal of increasing efficiency in the courts, expanding access to justice, and preventing conflicts from escalating into violence or litigation.
To support the Maryland Judiciary’s mission to provide fair, efficient, and effective justice for all, Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office’s Conflict Resolution Projects Grants provide funding for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs or projects which develop, improve, and expand high-quality ADR services statewide.

Eligibility Criteria
Generally, courts and local government agencies within the state of Maryland, non-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education working in Maryland are eligible to apply.
