PinkRose℠ is fortunate to charitably give back to the children left behind because of breast cancer.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is limited to individuals who are legal residents of the United States of America, under the age of 25 who have lost a parent or legal guardian to breast cancer. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary education or certificate training.
Written Statement
A written statement must be submitted with your Application. In your statement, you should address the topics outlined below. Please include your name and the name of your deceased parent in the right-hand corner on the pages of the statement. This statement should total not more than two pages and should have a picture.
- Autobiographical information describing the significant impact of breast cancer in your life. Also describe how your academic motivation and interests, professional and volunteer experience, and career objectives were altered. Include a summary of your principal interests and activities. Please highlight activities that are community- and/or service-oriented and those in which you have held leadership positions.
- A detailed statement of intent articulating your interest in the PinkRose Scholarship. Please include explanations of how obtaining a post-secondary degree or certificate will benefit your future by helping to fulfill your goals and dreams.
