GoalsĀ
This program will support the development, improvement, and/or implementation of emergency planning activities for state, Tribal, county, and local juvenile justice residential facilities.
Objectives
The objectives of this program are to ensure the safety and well-being of youth and staff in juvenile justice residential facilities; strengthen facility preparedness among resident youth, staff, and the facility itself; maintain the efficient continuation of operations; and reduce risk to the physical plant.

- Anticipated maximum dollar amount per award: Awards will be up to $250,000

- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Private institutions of higher education
- For-profit organizations other than small businesses
- Small businesses
- Tribal institutions of higher education are also eligible to apply.
